The BP100 was developed with both children and parents in mind. It delivers better access to speech for children at all times, whether your child is wearing a softband or old enough to access direct bone conduction via the Baha implant*. The BP100 is based on three basic principles:

* Clarity in Sound
* Simplicity in Use
* Brilliance in Design

• Clarity in sound: Speech is one of the most important sounds for young listeners and our programmable device with 12-channels of signal analysis is designed to provide an advantage for kids and parents.

• Extra Safety Features: Tamper-proof battery doors as well as a key-lock make sure little fingers cannot accidentally change the processor settings or get into trouble.

• Built Kid Tough: The processor has been redesigned to meet the busy lives children lead. The universal Europin connector helps ensure connection to different inputs of a child’s life, from MP3 players to FM systems.

• Parental Confidence: LEDs allow parents and caregivers to know whether the processor is on and if the battery is good.

The BP100 is now available to new Baha Candidates as well as those of you who currently own a processor. Please contact your clinic and ask them about getting a BP100 sound processor today!

Have a question or a comment? We would love to hear your feedback, please post a comment below and our Baha representative will respond with a comment as well!

*The Baha Implant is cleared by the U.S. FDA for children aged 5 and older.

My son got his Divino in January. The doctor ordered 2 so that if one was in need of repair, we would always have a backup. What options are available for upgrade to the new BP100?

Since we have had a few questions from current Baha users on getting a BP100 - we will be creating a new discussion thread simply for this topic. I do want to assure you that the new processor is compatible with the current implant and there will be an upgrade program in the near future. Please check the new "Upgrade" discussion thread often for the latest information on that topic!

Ryan,

Hope you can answer this question a little off subject.

I have sorted parents by a specific catagory but can not figure out how to email them. The email link is not on their profile page?

I thought you would have a general message board where people talk in real time?

Please reply.

Jim

Dear Jim,

Thank you for your message. Did you sort the names in the Community? My insight is that some of the folks may have privacy settings in place that don’t allow for their e-mail to be shown. I will respond to you privately as I am checking with our support team now.

We are working towards a live chat feature; stay tuned for more information.
I agree that we need it!

Thanks!
~am
